Trying to play politics and be anti capitalist to the rich will not work when you try to be selective with tax cuts. Tax cuts across the board is what works because it benefits everyone including the rich that spend the most and that pay the most in taxes. According to the Washington administration, if they get their way with selective tax cuts, 2 1/2% of businesses will be affected and 890,000 businesses will cut 2-4 employees to maintain their businesses. If that happens, two people cut would mean 1,788,000 jobs lost, four people cut would mean 3,576,000 jobs lost. What is Washington thinking? They don’t have a clue when it comes to creating jobs, because most of them have never had a real job in their life!

First I want to thank all my parade LEYVA volunteers for the great job they did in the parade, the only reason the parade was a success is because of them. The parade route was full of great people that was very receptive to the thought of change in November. People are tired of big government and ready to vote for change on November second. Here are just a couple of pics and will post more on facebook. Please click on pics below to enlarge.

At all levels, government appears to be out of control, and it’s at the expense of the taxpayers. Look at Illinois’ Governor, Rod Blagojevich. I think he is one of the biggest sleazeballs in recent history, and yet very little stuck to him. Patrick Fitzgerald had him in court and lost. If Blago was trying to get money or a political favor in return for appointing someone to President Obama’s senate seat, it was never proven in court by Fitzgerald. The only thing proven in court is that Rod Blagojevich is not much of a man nor leader.

Pat Fitzgerald blew away six years worth of taxpayers’ money. If he’d waited another week, he would have had a slam dunk case. Instead, he cut the investigation short, right at its climax, and lost the case. All to protect political operatives. Now, he wants to spend another twenty million dollars of taxpayers’ money to retry the case. Why should taxpayers pay for his mistakes in judgment as a prosecutor?

First, let’s establish what is the real crime. The crime is pay to play, or kick-back, or quid pro quo, depending on your preference. And, it doesn’t happen only in Illinois. When are we going to hear something from the Justice Department about Pete Visclosky with his quid pro quo of political votes in return for campaign donations? It’s actually pretty simple. Follow the vote, and then the campaign donations. The real losers in all of this are the taxpayers.

Insofar as the mosque at Ground Zero goes, I don’t think Americans are even thinking about their Islamic religion. This is a matter of some jerks kicking sand in our face. And, we don’t like it.

Further, I am also a little more than upset with our current Speaker of the House, Pelosi, who is threatening to investigate where those who oppose the mosque are getting their money. Unlike Speaker Pelosi, we work for it, and in case she has forgotten, we also pay her salary. She works for us.

What do she and her cohorts think they’re going to do? Throw us in a Gulag? I think it’s time to remind her and her buddies, most of whom don’t even recognize God or religion, that they have nothing to say to the American people. We choose to what to say and to whom. We will exercise our God given rights to say whatever we darned well please.
