Before I go into my comments, I want to thank Mr. Kakar from Long Island that is a true HERO for stopping that terrorist on the plane. Why was this  crotch bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab let on the plane without a passport? What is airline policy? Who is to blame and what kind of policies will change. It sure didn’t take long to see what need now in the airports is, personal privacy was a major issue prior to this terrorist incident and body scanners were not an easy sell to the public. Now what, because of the crotch bomber the TSA recently announced the purchase of 150 Rapiscan units (body scanners) with stimulus money. You can’t have companies with body scanners stay in business if there is no place to use them. Our individual privacies in the airport keep diminishing, when the real security problem is the same over and over again. As the say, all Muslims are not terrorist, but all terrorist are Muslim. Now our individual dignities at the airport are going to be invaded because of lack of commence security over PC politics.

It is bad enough that this Healthcare bill will bankrupt our country and do nothing to reduce costs. All reality the facts are this Healthcare bill will increase cost to consumers. The worst part of Government doing business as usual is, when you can’t find enough votes for bad legislation you just buy them. In the House vote,  a Louisiana vote was bought with $300 million of tax dollars. Sen. Dodd’s vote cost $100 Million of taxpayer dollars for a university hospital. Then you have Sen. Bob Nelson’s vote, the Federal Government will pay for Medicaid state budget every year. You have it right, you and the other 49 other state will pay for the Medicaid in Nebraska at taxpayers expense. These are just some of BRIBES used to get votes for worst bill in history.

The whole Healthcare bill does nothing to reduce healthcare cost; it increases the cost to healthcare. The middle class is going to be hit hard with new taxes to pay for this government-run healthcare. This Healthcare bill is just an expansion of government and control of one sixth of the economy. There are three major areas that would cut the cost of Healthcare. First, Tort Reform to help fight frivolous law suits. Second, portability would give consumers the ability to purchase a healthcare policy across state lines. Third, empowerment to the consumer and doctor, giving payment control to the consumer through Medical Savings Accounts, and giving the doctors the power to treat patients without government restrictions. These are the real key issues to create higher quality Healthcare and reduce cost, yet none of these cost reduction issues are in any of the Democratic Healthcare bills.

Last week while we are concentrating on the Health Care bill, Congress past a couple of bill like the Omnibus bill with over 5,000 earmarks.  Congress is not listening to their constituents. That is why the TEA Party movement will be in Washington on Tuesday call CODE RED, I decided to go and be a part of a group that is going to go to the HALL OF CONGRESS and tell our Congressional members what we expect of them.
