There is another “smoke and mirrors’ piece of legislation being considered in Congress as an attempt to distract the American people from the real issues of jobs and the economy and it is called Wall Street Reform. The current administration is using Goldman-Sachs as the fall guy so they can pass more bad legislation. Do they think we don’t know they are “friendly” with Goldman-Sachs? There are numerous, former GS employees that are now appointees of the Obama administration. Don’t be fooled by the Washington rhetoric, Congress is to blame for the current economic problems and they are trying to grab more power by crafting reform which will only help bailout their Wall Street friends in the future. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid. We will see if the Republicans can stay united and kill this Wall Street Reform Bill.

Congress is out of control spending and borrowing our children’s futures, building up more annual deficits and running up our national debt faster than any other time in history! Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are unfunded liabilities and Congress still continues to spend like drunken sailors. Instead of having fiscally responsible representatives in Washington who should be fighting on behalf of the taxpayer, we have representatives looking out for only themselves and their best interests. This is what is leading to our current economic turmoil. Many of these Congressmen have no understanding of Capitalism’s strengths because they have never held real jobs and therefore they think the only solution is to raise your taxes, enter the VAT tax. This is a regressive tax and it will simply force up the prices of everything we purchase starting from production all the way down to consumption. What we need instead is to cut taxes across the board, cut capital gains taxes and cut the corporate tax and STOP wasteful spending. The policies are tried and true, they work every time they are implemented by creating job growth and growth in the economy! Even better, we should implement the FAIR TAX-H.R. 25 which in fact cuts the aforementioned taxes and benefits the taxpayer by actually giving them 100% of their hard-earned paychecks.

When is the media going to get this? The TEA party movement spans from coast to coast and from one end to the other in party affiliation. I am a TEA party organizer for Lake County, IN. This movement consists of business persons, retirees, blue collar workers, union members and many more who are passionate about keeping our freedoms and liberties endowed us by our forefathers and US Constitution. We are not radicals or racists. When the media slams the TEA parties, the are slamming main stream America! If they were to actually attend a TEA party and speak with it’s members, they would get a more accurate view. The reason for the negative coverage is that Liberal America is afraid us regular folk may just network and organize the taking back of America

Seven days ago today I had to call the ambulance and had to rush my father to Munster Community Hospital and we thought we were going to lose my father. The first twenty four hours were very crucial,  but he finally turned around and he came home Friday. He had congestive heart failure,  fluids in his lungs, pneumonia and a failing kidney. With a lot of prayers and all my family siblings coming back home to support my father, had the will to recover and want to get home as soon as possible. It wasn’t as easy as it sounds, but we are glad dad it still with us. His dream has always been to see me make it to Congress and he is my biggest fan. I am sorry for being behind on the campaign trail, the push is on now and I need your support and votes to help make mine and my dad’s political dream continue past May 04th.

Drilling off shore and anywhere else we have oil is a good way to become oil independent.  President Obama and the kings and queens of Congress are using this opportunity to push Cap & Trade through the back door. Don’t  be  fooled by this drilling scam to push a false agenda which will only increase the cost we pay for gas and for the future cars that we will be required to purchase. When café’ standards were implemented by Congress that made cars lighter and mandated higher gas mileage, driving fatalities increased. Most of all, as these mandates are increased and forced on the U.S. car industry, we are going to have even more driving fatalities and further increased job losses to the steel industry. Can we afford more job loss?
