Geithner: No Second Stimulus Package

Filed under: Uncategorized — Mark Leyva @ 4:47 pm

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner says the Obama administration’s $787 billion stimulus package has worked well, so a second one is unnecessary.

What a joke? Does the Washington administration think we are all ignorant of the truth? Bailing out failed businesses, increasing government jobs and printing money is a plan for failure, and that is what this stimulus package has given us. WHERE ARE THE JOBS! ! ! Tax cuts across the board for everyone and cuts in Corporate and Capital Gains would have worked better and no expense to the taxpayers instead of the Stimulus Bill. According to history we know that economic plan works every time much better, just look at treasury receipts of history for these facts. So, if we were serious about what is better for the taxpayer, we should be encouraging our Congressmen to vote in the FAIR TAX H.R.25.

  5. I am sorry to hear about your business, but it seems that most businesses are all struggling. The economy will not get better till Congress cuts taxes across the board, cut Capital Gains, cuts Corporate Taxes, and helps the small businessmen. The best way to do this is to pass HR25 the FAIR TAX.

  6. You need think about it. Despite the emails, the overwhelming evidence showing global warming is happening hasn’t changed.
“The e-mails do nothing to undermine the very strong scientific consensus . . . that tells us the Earth is warming, that warming is largely a result of human activity,” Jane Lubchenco, who heads the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, told a House committee. She said that the e-mails don’t cover data from NOAA and NASA, whose independent climate records show dramatic warming.
